Conkers
A Horse Chestnut tree out side my office brimming with Horse Chestnuts or better known in my parts as Conkers. Loved playing conker when i was a kid.
Do kids still play conkers or is it another one of the simple pleasure replaced by computer games hope not i'll be encourageing my two to have a game with me.

Don't laugh now, but my dog loves to play with chestnuts lying on the ground, in SA we don't have Chestnut trees, but I love it when
roasted, one can buy a packet full, piping hot downtown, Hmmmm,
I can walk past a chestnut stand!!

Conkers are the fruit that a Horse Chestnut produces, kids poke a hole down the middle thread a string down and aim at each other's conkers, the loser is the one whose breaks.

I dont know a conker from a bowling ball...but that is one beautiful tree! A nice view! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend!!!!
