Double Shift
Today is my most tiring day of the week, in the morning I have to wear my professional head, then in the afternoon I turn back into mummy. I don' t know why but I find it exhausting and find myself clock watching, waiting for Bazza to get home to have some support and an extra pair of eyes. The children also seem to have a problem with the split shift, they're always more hyper or does it only seem that way to me as i'm more tired.
I don't do myself any favours as I tend to do my weekly shopping today, and as you will have read on a previous blog it can be pretty traumatic, though today wasn't to bad, they both did really well, just bumping into people not wine bottles for a change.

It's amazing how kids sense the
change in plan or when you as
Mommy feel down or tired, they seem to pick it up in a flash - and become hyper!
My son was good as gold, but my little girl was such a specialist in picking up the "scent" of a bad situation. I was prepared to take a vacation in a nut house LOL!!
It,s hard not to let on we're feeling down or tired, but it would be clever if we could do just that, LOL!!
